Debbie grows up with the story of her father’s life changing musical experience in a refugee camp. She tracks down Leonard Bernstein years later with unexpected consequences.

AVE MARIA 15 minutes, Israel (Incognito films $150)

Nominated for Academy Award best short 2016. 5 nuns in the West Bank have their lives disrupted when an Israeli settler family car breaks down right outside their convent just before Sabbath.

THE MAN WHO SHOT HOLLYWOOD 12 MINUTES, USA

Jack Pashkovsky lived quietly in a town lit up by a thousand stars. He practiced his art anonymously and compiled what must be the greatest collection of celebrity photographs never seen.

A REUBEN BY ANY OTHER NAME 4 minutes, USA

Ah, the reuben sandwich! Which is better? The Los Angeles version or the New York City version? You decide.

GEVALD 16 minutes, Israel

Gevald was born out of a sense of urgency as the queer community in Jerusalem faced real and serious threats. A spontaneous initiative, the story is based on real figures and the participants are non-actors. This is the first queer community based film ever made in Israel-Palestine.
