About Us

Membership Committee

Temple Isaiah is a warm and caring house of worship, the epitome of the word "community."  We welcome new congregants throughout the year. Come meet the congregation.  Join us on Friday nights at 7:00 p.m. for a "Welcome Shabbat" reception, and 8:00 p.m. services.  Beginning July 1st, Summer Friday night services will begin at 5:30.

For membership information and to learn all about our Synagogue, call Marvin Paul, Membership Chair, at 674-9245, or call the Temple office, 325-2281.

A LETTER FROM THE MEMBERSHIP CHAIR . . .

My name is Marvin Paul, and I will be serving as membership chairperson for Temple Isaiah for the coming year.  Having stated that, I am asking for your support to accomplish our goals.  I am appointing all members to be HONORARY ADVISORY MEMBERS.  This is a great opportunity, without giving up any of your time, to provide some very meaningful resources for our Temple Isaiah family.

What can you do as an Advisory Member?  Give me a name, address, and phone number for at least 1 potential new member!  It’s that easy.  Pick up your phone and call me at 760-674-9245, or Trudi in the Temple office, 760-325-2281 and advise us of your recommended friend, neighbor, or any Jewish person!

There is something else that will work.  Come to Friday Shabbat Service and bring along a guest.  We want to meet and greet you and your guest.  The joy of seeing and feeling the warmth and spirit that Rabbi Sally brings to us in abundance will put the frosting on the cake!  These are the facts.  We have all the tools: beautiful building, fabulous Rabbi, and the warmest and nicest members a temple could have.

So, I welcome all of you to accept my appreciation in advance and know that you will want to share your efforts.  You will feel good, our potential new members will have the same good feeling, and our Temple Isaiah will continue to grow and lead our Jewish people.

Shalom, Marvin
